This summer Baltimore Woods presents three different ECOTREKs, each an intense Adirondack adventure that will build character and inspire care for the wonderful environment that surrounds us. Whether teenagers are just starting to venture out on wilderness adventure treks, or are experienced in the ways of the wilderness we have an ECOTREK for you!
ADVANCE ECOTREK (Session 1):
Five-day session for previous ECOTREKKERs (or any teen 15-16) that jumps right into high ropes team building and caving adventures in the Lake George area. Then spend the next four days (three nights) backpacking to the top of NY's highest peak, Mt. Marcy. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE Price: $625 (w/ Baltimore Woods membership)

ÜBER ECOTREK (Session 2):
Seven-day surf and turf session for previous ECOTREKKERs! Start the surf side after a night in Baltimore Woods, by launching out from Long Lake on the classic canoe route up the Raquette River. The turf side starts after three days of canoeing, as the group heads into the remote Seward Range in the Adirondack High Peaks to attempt tackling its four summits. ECOTREKs (Sessions 3 & 4):
Five-day sessions for any teens (12-16) just starting out into the woods. Spend a day at Baltimore Woods learning backpacking basics before heading into the Adirondacks for whitewater adventures with ARO Outfitters on the Sacandaga River, and three days (two nights) of backpacking into the High Peaks region.
